Blizzard is trying to bring back inactive Diablo 4 players with big boosts, free trials, XP events and more.

Originally teased for the most recent campfire chatBlizzard has now officially detailed a host of Diablo 4 events designed to entice players back into the fold. All take place at the end of the month and what’s on offer is quite generous.

The developer also confirmed the return of last year’s holiday-themed Red-Cloaked Horror event, making for a busy end-of-year calendar.

Departure November 19Blizzard is offering all Diablo 4 players a unique boost to any Eternal Realm character of their choice. The developer hasn’t specified when this limited-time offer will disappear, but it will allow you to immediately upgrade a character to level 50, choose from three different builds (including a fully completed skill tree), a full game. set of legendary items and unlock all altars of Lilith. The boost also includes a cache containing 1 million gold, 1,000 Obols, an amnesia scroll, and crafting materials.

If you have the Vessel of Hatred expansion, you can do this with two characters instead of one. The Eternal Realm, of course, is where the characters go after a season ends. This is also where your old pre-season characters live. You can always create new characters on this realm if you are not interested in participating in the seasonal journey.

To claim the boost, all you have to do is interact with the intended reliquary inside the Kyovashad Tavern. Even if your character is already level 50, you will still receive the rest of the boosts.

Follow the spirit of generosity, November 19 to December 2everyone who does not yet own the Vessel of Hatred expansion will have the opportunity to try it out the new Spiritborn class and upgrade to level 25. This trial is only available to PC players on Battle.net, however.

Any progress made during the trial will carry over to the expansion itself if/when you subsequently purchase it. The Spiritborn is already one of the most powerful classes in Diablo 4, with many destructive constructions and – currently – total dominance of Diablo 4’s endgame.

The rest of the calendar is made up of events that all players can enjoy. The Red-Cloaked Horror event returns, November 19 to December 3. The Red Cloak Horror is a mini-event that has a chance to appear in Helltides, Infernal Hordes, and any random dungeon. If you survive the ambush, you’ll get Ash, Burning Ether, and more for your troubles.

Gileon’s Brew, the consumable elixir first introduced during last year’s iteration of the event, also returns. Now more powerful than ever; this lasts 30 minutes and increases all damage dealt to enemies by 20%, forces enemies to drop additional herbs and crafting materials, and increases XP gained by 15%. You can even find it by opening Tortured Gifts in Helltides, if you’re lucky.

You can kick off the festivities by visiting Midwinter Square in Kyovashad. This will also give you a unique gift.

Sanctuary’s ever-giving mother.

Finally, Diablo 4’s not-quite-double XP event, Mother’s Blessing, also returns from November 19 to November 26. As always, all players in both realms and all world tiers will earn XP and Gold at higher multiplier rates. The bonus also stacks with elixirs and the Urn of Aggression from the seasonal journey.

That’s of course not all that’s going to happen over the next few weeks in Diablo 4. A new Campfire Chat livestream is planned for next week, November 21, to detail the game’s upcoming PTR 2.1, which should start the following week.

Although we won’t see the results of this PTR until Season 7 begins in late January, we expect the discussion to continue until we say goodbye to 2024.
