All New Information Released About Liam Payne’s Death

His death is no longer considered a suicide.

On October 16, former One Direction singer Liam Payne died tragically after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. THE Argentinian police investigated the circumstances of his death.

Today, the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office issued a very detailed statement on what it has discovered during the investigation so far. Here’s all the new information you need to know about Liam Payne’s death.

Medical teams do not believe Liam Payne’s death was a suicide

The prosecutor’s office no longer considers Liam Payne’s death a suicide. Medical reports suggest he fell from the balcony while partially, if not completely, unconscious. He could therefore not have consciously made the decision to fall from the balcony.

The report explains: “Self-harm of any kind and/or physical intervention by third parties were excluded.

“(The medical reports) also highlighted that the victim had not adopted a reflexive posture to protect herself during the fall, so that, at the moment, it can be inferred that she could have fallen into a state of d semi-or total unconsciousness.

“Although other medical history of the victim’s medical history remains to be analyzed, the phenomenon of lack of defense or conservation reflex in the fall, as well as other relevant data due to its consumption, allows us to conclude that Liam Payne was not fully conscious or was in a state of significantly diminished or abolished consciousness at the time of the fall.

“For the prosecution, this situation would also exclude the possibility of a conscious or voluntary act of the victim, since, in the state in which she found herself, she did not know what she was doing and could not understand it .”

Three people have been arrested in connection with the death of Liam Payne

New information from the prosecutor’s office reveals that police are officially investigating three people in connection with the death of Liam Payne. It reads: “Unlawful conduct was discovered, as a result of which three people were charged with crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of drugs. »

Full toxicology report released

Liam Payne had drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of his death. However, it was not these substances that killed him.

The prosecutor’s office said: “The results of toxicology studies – already communicated to his family – revealed that, in the moments before his death and for at least his last 72 hours, Payne had only traces in his body of polyconsumption. of alcohol, cocaine and a prescribed antidepressant.

“Funeral directors… concluded that Payne’s death was caused by ‘multiple trauma’ and ‘internal and external haemorrhage’, following the musician’s fall from the balcony of the third floor bedroom of the hotel in the Palermo district where he resided. .”
