PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The family of the late Peter Nero donated the Philly Pops name and its musical arrangements to the current “No Name Pops.”

Nero was the conductor of the Philly Pops for 34 years.

The change will take place next year, perhaps in July.

The Philly Pops suspended their concerts after the Kimmel Center kicked out the group in January of last year.

The No Name Pops are made up of former members of the Philly Pops.

They have a concert on November 16 at Marian Anderson Hall in Kimmel.
