Streaming star Asmongold believes he will be banned from Twitch again before long, after making his return to the platform following a 14-day suspension.

In mid-October, Asmongold was criticized for calling the Palestinians an “inferior culture” and saying he had no sympathy for them when speaking about the region’s ongoing conflict.

The World of Warcraft streamer’s comments quickly circulated on social media and Twitch, with many viewers calling for him to be banned by the Amazon-owned platform. His ZackRawrr account was hit with a 14-day suspension And several companies have severed their ties with Asmon – including OTK and StarForge Systems.

This ban has since ended and Asmongold has returned to streaming. He promised to visit the Middle East in the new year to “broaden his perspectives”. However, he also believes that Twitch will ban him again before then.

“Look, I won’t be banned for probably a week,” he said during his October 30 stream. “There will probably be a few more things that will happen and I will probably end up getting banned after that. That’s what I assume. Maybe we’ll see what happens, but I don’t know yet.

The streaming star said that if he were to be banned again, he would prefer it to happen after November 5.

“You have to survive until Election Day?” It’s true,” he added. “I have to survive and stay out of trouble until election day. After Election Day, we can then have a lot of fun.

Following his initial ban, Asmon called Twitch “inconsistent” when it comes to dishing out punishment. And he clearly believes he’s on track toward another suspension.

He also apologized for his previous behavior and said he wanted to change the “tone” of his streams. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
