DOOR 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has revised the exam schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates can check the exam schedule by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

As per the official timetable, GATE 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 in two shifts at different exam centers. The exam will take place in two sessions: the morning and the afternoon. The morning session will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon session exam will be conducted from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The exam will take place over 30 tests.

When will GATE 2025 admit cards be released?

The GATE 2025 admit card will be released a week before the exam. The exact date of issue of admit cards for GATE 2025 exam will be announced later. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

GATE 2024 will be a computer-based test. The language of the exam will be English. Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam. Questions will be asked in Multiple Choice Question, Multiple Choice Question (MSQ) and Numerical Response Type (NAT) format.

Negative marking will be implemented

For a wrong answer chosen in a MCQ, there will be a negative mark. For a 1-point MCQ, 1/3 of a point will be deducted for a wrong answer. For a 2-point MCQ, 2/3 points will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is no negative rating for incorrect answers to MSQ or NAT questions. There is no partial marking in MSQ.
