Cape Town will be honored by royalty this week, but not everyone is impressed.

The heir to the British throne, Prince William, arrived in the country before the Earthshot Prize Ceremony.

The Prince of Wales will travel without his wife, Kate Middleton, who recently completed chemotherapy after a cancer diagnosis.

The Earthshot Prize recognizes innovation

The Earthshot Prize is the brainchild of Prince Williams and focuses on environmental protection.

Each year, the most revolutionary innovations that will help repair the planet are selected as finalists for the award. Five winners are chosen at the awards ceremony, each winning £1 million to develop their work.

The fourth edition of The Earthshot Prize will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 15 finalists will compete for the prestigious title.

South Africans speak out on Prince’s visit

A lot South Africans are delighted that the Prince of Wales is in the country, but others don’t care.

“Mxm, why this news? We have our own prince in South Africa.

Nomzamo Mbatha seen with Prince William

In brief News previously reported that South Africa Nomzamo Mbatha I got to rub shoulders with royalty.

THE the actress was spotted alongside Prince William at the Earthshot Prize Awards in Singapore in 2023.

The initiative was founded by the Prince in 2020 and rewards innovators who tackle combatting environmental issues.
