Prince William took away a sweet reminder of home for South Africa.

On Monday November 4 and Tuesday November 5, the Prince of Wales, 40, was spotted wearing a friendship bracelet emblazoned with the word “Daddy” on his right wrist during a series of outings in Cape Town.

The blue and green bracelet is affectionately named William’s. three children call it spelled out in black and white beads.

William was first seen wearing the accessory – a thread and bead bracelet that recalls the friendship bracelet trend among Swifties from Taylor Swiftthe concerts of the Eras Tour — while he met more than 120 young leaders at the Earthshot Prize Climate Leaders youth program with Hannah Jones, CEO of Earthshot.

Later that day, William played rugby at Ocean View Secondary School with young South Africans from three townships. As he attended the rugby coaching session and caught the ball, the bracelet was visible on his wrist again.

The bracelet was also visible the next day while he was taking a Morning walk under South Africa’s iconic Table Mountain with Robert Irwin – A global ambassador of the Earthshot Prize – before the Earthshot Prize ceremony on November 6.

On June 17, William and his wife Kate Middleton shared a new photo of him with their three children on their social media accounts to mark Father’s Day in the UK, with a message from their children.

“We love you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day G, C & L,” the photo’s caption read, listing George, Charlotte and Louis’ first initials. It was the first time a social media post was signed by the royal siblings.

It was previously revealed that William’s children called him “Daddy” on Mother’s Day in the UK in 2021. At the time, Kensington Palace shared the cards that George, Charlotte and Louis had written to their late grandmother, Princess Diana.

“Thinking of you for Mother’s Day. I love you very much,” Princess Charlotte wrote on the card. “Daddy misses you. Lots of love.”

Charlotte and George also seem to be fans of the jewelry, as Charlotte was spotted wearing two friendship bracelets on her wrist at a party. outing at Wimbledon this summer with her mother, the Princess of Wales, 42, and her aunt Pippa Middleton.

Meanwhile, George appeared to be wearing the accessory in a new birthday portrait to mark his 11th birthday in July.

In the black-and-white photo taken by her mother, a thread bracelet could be seen on her wrist, near the cuff of her white shirt.

The children wearing the bracelets arrived weeks after attending Swift’s Eras tour at London’s Wembley Stadium with their father for his 42nd birthday.

The trio posed for rare selfies with Swift, 34, backstage at the show, and took another selfie with the pop superstar’s boyfriend Travis Kelcewhich Swift later shared on her Instagram.
