KANSAS CITY — Law enforcement continues to work to identify a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Oct. 21 at the Hawthorn Bank, 17430 E. 39th Street in Independence, Missouri, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, verbally demanded cash and brandished a firearm. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash on a blue sports motorcycle.

According to reports, the suspect is described as an older white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short gray hair, black leather jacket with patches, dark pants, gray sneakers, a dark headgear and a blue surgical mask.
