Meghan Markle’s ambitious vision hits a snag amid ‘professional split’

Meghan Markle’s ambitious dream of launching her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, has hit a major obstacle.

The Duchess of Sussex encountered a “multi-billion dollar problem” with trademark registration, as reported by Daily mail.

After teasing the business in April and creating an Instagram page to promote it, Meghan faced a lack of updates regarding its official launch.

The brand aims to offer products that reflect Meghan’s personal style, including home decor items, kitchen items like carafes and cutlery, table linens and cookbooks.

However, complications arose when Harry & David, a well-established US company with an annual turnover of £1.7 billion and a workforce of 3,300, lodged a protest with the Patent Office and United States trademarks relating to the Royal Riviera brand.

Meghan’s close friends, including Kim Kardashian, have previously highlighted her determination to “change the world”, but this latest setback poses a challenge for the duchess as she pursues her entrepreneurial ambitions.

Royal biographer Angela Levin recently commented on her ambitious but fragmented activities, noting that the Duchess has “so many things she wants to do.”

Talk to News from Great Britain, Levin highlighted Meghan’s tendency to organize projects, such as her American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand, but then leave them unattended, saying: “It’s as terrible as the American Riviera Orchard, which has in was originally made in April; we have nothing more to do.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry have been spotted making separate public appearances, a trend that has raised eyebrows among royal watchers.

A friend of the couple shared with People magazine that these solo outings reflect their “parental priorities,” with one of them staying behind to care for their children.
