OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – It will be a pleasant weekend as both days will be mostly sunny with a few clouds here and there. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the 60s, which is near normal, then temperatures will warm into the 70s by Sunday. Both days will be windy from the southeast between 10 and 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. If you want to go to a pumpkin patch, the weather will be perfect to do so.

Monday and Tuesday are the FIRST WEATHER ALERT DAYS due to the threat of forest fires! Strong south-southeast winds could reach 50 mph! With strong winds and very dry weather, wildfires could easily start and get out of control. The burning ban continues in part of the sector!

Tuesday evening and Wednesday will be our next chances for scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms. You may need an umbrella on Wednesday. The serious risk is LOW! There is a higher chance of rain on Friday and possibly next weekend. The chances are low, but they could increase as we get closer.
