GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and provider of digital engineering solutions, has opened a new delivery center in Hyderabad. This center marks the launch of the company’s fourth center in the last nine months.

The center, which currently employs 600 engineers, would have more than 2,000 employees in the next three years.

“Our recruiting efforts will target talent with expertise in software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing and other new-age technologies, particularly in GenAI,” said Piyush Jha, Managing Director and Head of APAC at GlobalLogic.

The company plans to tap into the city’s vast pool of engineering talent, focusing on new hires to support its growing operations. Additionally, following the recent acquisition of Mobiveil by GlobalLogic, a significant number of Mobiveil employees will also be stationed in this large 38,000 square foot center.

“This center will strengthen the company’s core engineering capabilities and provide advanced digital engineering solutions across industries including technology, healthcare, automotive, banking and professional services,” said a manager of the company.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu officially inaugurated the centre.

“This new facility will boost job creation and cultivate talent, thereby strengthening Telangana’s leadership in high-impact sectors,” the minister said.

“The new center will allow us to expand our team, enabling us to meet the growing demands of our global customers,” he said.
