HILTON, NY — A man faces burglary and assault charges after a massive search in Hilton Wednesday morning.

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies were called for domestic trouble at a two-apartment complex around 1 a.m. Deputies say the suspect fled as they approached him, sparking a search with drones and a K-9 unit. Deputies eventually arrested the man, Joseph Ortiz-Serrano, around Archer Driver and Marple Lane.

Ortiz-Serrano also faces charges of strangulation and criminal mischief. There is no news yet on the victim’s condition. We have contacted MPs for more information.
