King Charles and Prince William ‘make millions’ from charity and public service deals

Channel 4 Shipments and Sunday time The investigation has uncovered details alleging that the Duchy of Cornwall, overseen by Prince William as heir to the throne, earned substantial income from public bodies and charities over the years.

According to the report, the duchy has received around £22 million since 2005 from Camelford House rent shares alone.

The investigation further claims that St John Ambulance, of which King Charles is patron, had already paid almost £60,000 to the Duchy of Cornwall for access to its land.

Additionally, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) would face small charges to use duchy-owned slipways in the southwest.

The allegations include Cornwall leasing land to one of Europe’s biggest polluters.

Since becoming Duke of Cornwall in September 2022, the Prince of Wales has committed to transforming the Duchy, aiming for net zero emissions by 2032 and implementing targeted mental health support for tenants, while also working with local partners to tackle homelessness in Cornwall.
