What Trump said in his victory speech

“It was a movement like no one had ever seen before,” he told the crowd in West Palm Beach shortly before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. “And frankly, I believe it was the greatest political movement of all time. There’s never been anything like it in this country, and maybe beyond. And now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we are going to help our country heal.

“We’re going to help our country heal. We have a country that needs help, and it needs it badly. We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything in our country and we did it tonight for a reason.” , he said. And the reason will be precisely that. We overcame obstacles that no one thought possible, and it is now clear that we have achieved the most incredible political thing.

“Look what happened,” he said, spreading his arms wide. “Is this crazy?”

Trump thanked the American people for the “incredible honor” of being elected twice.

“Every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and your future,” he said. “Every day, I will fight for you. And with every breath of my body, I will not rest until we deliver the strong, secure, prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve.

“This will truly be America’s golden age,” he said to loud cheers. “That’s what we have to have.

“This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again,” Trump said.
