The Bucyrus Water Department has issued a boil water advisory for West Beal Avenue, from Rosedale Avenue to Linwood Drive, and for the entire Southern Lights Shopping Center due to a water main break or depressurization.

Residents should bring water to a boil for at least one minute before drinking or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and preparing food until further notice.

The Bucyrus Water Department has no evidence that the water system is contaminated and is issuing this advisory as a precaution.
