A dash of holiday magic can make anything happen – it can even become a multi-platinum musical legend Stevie Nicks in the recording studio with retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. It’s the season.

The duo teamed up for an unlikely duet of Ron Sexsmith’s “Maybe This Christmas,” the latest installment of the Kelce-led Philly Specials album. A Special Christmas Party in Philadelphiareleased on November 22. On the single, Kelce and Nicks lay out a lengthy Christmas wish list. But they are less interested in material things this year. Instead, both men ask for forgiveness, hope and gratitude.

“Maybe this Christmas will mean something more/Maybe this year love will appear/Deeper than ever,” they sing. “And maybe forgiveness will ask us to call/Someone we love, someone we’ve lost/For reasons we don’t really remember/Maybe this Christmas.”

“There are no words to describe how incredible it is to have Stevie Nicks on this album,” executive producer Conner Barwin said in a statement. “There is so much emotion in this song, and it was exciting to be with them in the studio and see her and Jason connect, be creative together and see this beautiful song become a reality.”

Charlie Hall, who produced and played as drummer on the album, added: “I was really hoping that this song would resonate with Jason when we were brainstorming ideas for this album, and it was clear how which inhabits this beautiful melody that she made. And seeing Stevie Nicks, one of the all-time masters of emotional transference (and one of my all-time heroes), come and amplify all of that is such a dream. I love this duo so much.

Nicks already has her gift guide ready for the holidays. “I love designing covers. Cashmere blankets are my favorite,” she recently said rolling stone. “This is what I buy for my friends if there is a special occasion. I bought a blanket from Travis Kelce. The musician has a crush on Travis, who has been dating Taylor Swift for a year. She also has a crush on her. She hasn’t taken off the friendship bracelet Swift gave her since she received it last year.

“She’s really smart, but she’s also been through a lot before. She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” Nicks added. “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.” He does his thing and she does her thing and then they get back together and get married and have babies if she wants them to. I just want all this for her.
