Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles mansion sells for $8.5 million one year after his death

Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles mansion has a new owner.

The former residence of the late “Friends” star, which was found dead in the hot tub of her Pacific Palisades home on October 28, 2023, was purchased by Arizona-based film producer and real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian for $8.55 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

A representative for Verma-Lallian told the outlet that she would use the four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot mid-century modern property, which Perry purchased in 2020 for $6 million, as a vacation home.

The representative also said the businesswoman purchased the home through a trust and was represented by Brooke Elliott Laurinkus of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.

Perry died at age 54 from complications “acute effects of ketamine” according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

His manner of death was ruled accidental.

The autopsy report also listed drowning, coronary heart disease and the opioid buprenorphine among other conditions contributing to the actor’s death.

Five people, including two doctors and Perry’s longtime assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, were accused with the death of the “Fools Rush In” star.

Officials said Iwamasa administered the dose of ketamine that killed the ’17 Again’ star.

Perry’s stepfather, Keith Morrison, and his half-sister, Caitlin Morrison, reflected on the death of the actor earlier this week.

“When (Matthew) died suddenly, it was incredibly shocking…anyone who has lost a child will tell you that even if you are in some way prepared for this eventuality, it is heartbreaking,” the correspondent said. from “Dateline” to Hello! Canada Wednesday.

Keith and Caitlin said they channeled their grief into the Matthew Perry Foundation of Canada, which was recently established to honor the late star “continuing his commitment to helping others recover.”

“He would like to be remembered for doing something to help people suffering from addiction,” Keith added.
