A source said The Sun: “Producers are filming another Christmas special, bringing back some of the biggest MAFS faces from this and previous series. They’re really keen to have Ross, given all the drama that happened after he abandoned her after filming wrapped, but he doesn’t want to face her.

“He avoids production calls and won’t commit. The bosses aren’t giving up and will continue to try to persuade him, but for now he wants to move past the show and focus on his new relationship.

“It’s a real blow to the production as the end-of-series reunion was filmed before the last series began airing, so they wanted to get all the biggest characters back to delve into the various dramas and feuds which developed between the actors while the series was released on television.

But at the time this reunion was filmed, as now, the two now-estranged couples were still together. Well, according to sources, it appears to have been filmed in April this year and apparently Nathan and Lacey broke up after the reunion.

A source said The Sun: “Nathan and Lacey really tried to make their relationship work in the real world but it fizzled after a while.

“Perpetual Vows was filmed in February and it was still happening in April when the reunion was filmed, but since then it has stopped.”
