Fidelity has an interest in OpenAI that the mutual fund giant is valued at nearly $30 million, according to a filing Wednesday.

Fidelity participated in OpenAI’s $6.6 billion funding round via its Blue Chip Growth Fund.

According to the fund’s monthly report, released on October 30 and including financial information for September, Fidelity valued its OpenAI shares at $29,421,124.

It was not immediately clear how much stock OpenAI owns in Fidelity. The fund manager reports the number of shares it owns in each company in its annual and semi-annual reports, the latest of which was published in late September and includes financial information through August, just before the turn of OpenAI table.

Representatives for OpenAI and Fidelity did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
