UFO bomb as US government plans to ‘lift the curtain’ on evidence | World | News

An official US government hearing announced today that it would “lift the curtain” on secret UFO programs.

Titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth,” the event is expected to reveal information about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) – as UFOs are officially called – research programs conducted by the US government and undisclosed results that they produced.

The hearing will hear testimony from former Defense Department official Luis Elizondo, who in his written testimony said: “Let me be clear: UAPs are real. Advanced technologies not designed by our government – or any other government – monitor sensitive military installations around. the globe.

“Furthermore, the United States possesses UAP technologies, as do some of our adversaries. I believe we are in the midst of a decades-long secret arms race – one funded by poorly funded taxpayer dollars. allocated and hidden from our elected representatives and our oversight body.

Dr. Tim Gallaudet, retired Rear Admiral of the United States Navy, refers in his written testimony to “a new awareness that we are not the only advanced intelligence services in the universe” and states that ” unelected officials in the U.S. government

have an exclusive right to this knowledge of the nature of reality. »

In July 2022, the Pentagon established the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), to manage UAP reporting.

The AARO website provides information, including photos and videos, on resolved UAP cases as they are declassified and approved for public release. It also includes unresolved sightings, such as the so-called “GOFAST” video of the encounter between the crew of a US Navy F/A-18 and a UAP.

A government Oversight and Accountability Committee announcement on the event details: “The hearing will examine the Department of Defense’s (DoD) reluctance to appropriately declassify UAP documents, and ways to ensure that the public American is better informed on this subject. »

Rep. Nancy Mace and Rep. Glenn Grothman, both Republicans, will jointly chair the hearing. They said: “This is our second hearing on the subject of UAPs and the American people are tired of obfuscation and refusal to release information from the federal government.

“Americans deserve to understand what the government has learned about UAP sightings and the nature of the potential threats these phenomena pose. We can only ensure this understanding by ensuring systemic and consistent transparency.

“We look forward to hearing from expert witnesses on ways to shed light on this issue and ensure greater accountability.”
