A former assistant producer who worked with Jennifer Lopez on Maid In Manhattan has slammed those who speculate that Jlo knew about Diddy’s criminal activities.

Sean Diddy Combs is in custody over serious sexual allegations and since then his past relationships with co-artists are making headlines again. Recently, many have speculated that Lopez, Diddy’s former girlfriend, knew about his alleged criminal activities. Amid this, a former assistant producer who worked with JLo on the 2002 film Maid In Manhattan slammed those spreading false rumors about the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker. Thea de Sousa, when speaking about the rumors, noted, “She had no idea about Diddy. She barely drinks, she’s not a party girl, she’s not a fun girl, she’s a workaholic. » According to de Sousa, Lopez was simply “charmed” by Diddy for a short time. She stressed that JLo doesn’t deserve to be linked to Diddy’s troubling actions.

Speaking to Threads, De Sousa wrote (now deleted): “If you knew Jennifer Lopez, had worked with her before like me, or were close to people who are like family to her like me, you will know it. I had no idea about Diddy. She barely drinks, she’s not a party girl, she’s not a good-time girl, she’s a workaholic who raises the wife and was charmed by him for a brief period of her life. She does not deserve to be confused for her shocking and criminal misdeeds. »
