BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (KABC) — Several eastbound lanes of Highway 10 were closed in the Baldwin Park area due to a big rig toppling onto the lanes Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 3 a.m. on Frazier Street near Highway 605, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log. The incident also interrupted the transition from northbound Highway 605 to eastbound Highway 10.

AIR7 was above where crews were working to clean up the wreckage. The large truck was apparently carrying a load of onions.

Authorities initially said the highway would reopen around 5 a.m., but only two lanes were reopened as of 6 a.m.
