SOCHI, November 6. /TASS/. It is most likely that the Russian Energy Ministry will already send OPEC a new compensation plan for oil overproduction, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on the sidelines of the 21st meeting of the Valdai discussion club .

“I think that, most likely, the Ministry of Energy has already settled this issue of timing with the OPEC Secretariat,” Novak noted.

According to the timetable published on OPEC’s website, Russia is expected to cut production by a total of 480,000 barrels per day by the end of September 2025, in small increments during each month.
