Crunchy roll has taken another step towards making anime more accessible to audiences around the world. In a much-awaited move, the streaming platform announced the early launch of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs of Dragon Ball DAIMA. Weekly dubbed versions of the latest iteration of the iconic saga will be available to stream starting today (IST), November 9.

Follow a new Dragon Ball story brought to life from creative sketches to screen thanks to the legend of the mangaka Akira Toriyamathe DAIMA season originally premiered on October 11 as part of a stellar schedule autumn anime align. The new episodic premiere celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original Dragon Ball manga which first came to readers’ attention in 1984 via Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. As one of the best-selling Japanese products comicsthe franchise has since expanded into numerous adaptations available to worldwide audiences via translated media.

Dragon Ball DAIMA English Dub Is Also On The Way

Weekly episodes of Toei Animation’s latest production air on Fuji TV on Fridays. Internationally, the series is now broadcast on Crunchyroll, Netflixand Hulu in some regions. In addition to the Indian dubs rolling out on Crunchyroll on Saturday, the first three episodes of the English dub Dragon Ball DAIMA are scheduled to release in select U.S. theaters from November 10-12, 2024.

The special Dragon Ball DAIMA panel, organized at New York Comic Con on October 17, revealed the main cast of the English dub, including the return of Stephanie Nadolny as the voice of Goku and Aaron Dismuke stepping in to play new character Glorio.

The brand new Akira Toriyama anime chapter was directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki. Yuko Kakihara handles the series’ composition and storyline while Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru handles the animation character designs.

Crunchyroll officially described the series: “Goku and company were living a peaceful life when they suddenly became small due to a plot! When they discover that the reason may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm”, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.
