Nairobi – President William Ruto is optimistic that his administration will live up to the expectations of Kenyans.

Speaking on Tuesday, November 19, during the signing of ministerial performance contracts, the president said that updating his programs would outweigh the government’s criticism.

He suggested that important work is underway within government, contrary to what those who oppose it claim.

“I promise you: we will confound the naysayers and succeed. This great nation that God has given us will succeed. The enemies of Kenya will be ashamed because we will succeed, and we will take this country. I am convinced, I am very clear and I’m focused,” he said.
