Zain Qureshi resigns as deputy parliamentary leader

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zain Qureshi resigned from his post as deputy parliamentary leader in parliament on Saturday.

According to details, Qureshi had decided to relinquish his post after receiving the show cause notice. Expressing his thoughts, Qureshi said, “I submitted my response after the party sent me the show cause notice. »

“I gave up the post of Deputy House Leader considering the party sentiments,” Qureshi added.

I was, am and will be the pillar of my party, founder and father of the PTI,” he said.

Earlier, the PTI had issued a show cause notice to Zain Qureshi and others, citing violation by the party.

According to details, PTI stalwart Firdous Shamim Naqvi had issued show-cause notices to Qureshi, Riaz Fatyana, Aslam Ghumman and Miqdad Ali Khan.

In a notice issued, the PTI said, “Why was contact deliberately cut?

“The mentioned officers will have to submit their responses to the show cause notice within seven days. Party membership will be canceled if a satisfactory response is not given.”
