Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger celebrates milestone as Georgians cross 3 million mark

“Georgia voters know we made it easy to vote. It’s really that simple,” Raffensperger said. “For the past four years, we have worked tirelessly to prepare for this election by adding days of early voting and investing in infrastructure, only to be rewarded with the lies of Jim Crow 2.0 and a missed All-Star Game. We are tested and ready, despite the criticism.”

Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., the total participation rate exceeded the 3.2 million mark, including 3 million for early voting with 3,009,204 registrations.

Here’s how this year’s numbers compare to previous years:

  • 1,352,090 in 2018

  • 2,148,392 in 2020

  • 1,765,317 in 2022

Early voting turnout is expected to increase during this final week of early voting which ends Friday, officials said.
