Hearts defender Erin Husband, 16, won the SWPL Player of the Month award for October.

Husband has played 11 games this season – his first full campaign – and has helped Eva Olid’s side get off to a good start where they sit in third place, just a point off the top.

The teenager started all of Hearts’ matches in October making it three wins from three, including a 1-0 win over reigning champions Celtic.

Kilmarnock’s Abby Robinson won the SWPL 2 Player of the Month award after the midfielder scored twice and provided an assist in her side’s three wins in October.
