Lady Gaga set to appear in second season of ‘Wednesday’

Lady Gaga is set to appear in the second series of “Wednesday”.

The 38-year-old singer and actress landed a mysterious cameo as part of the all-star cast, led by lead character Jenna Ortega, in the Netflix spinoff “The Addams Family,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It’s no surprise that Gaga would make an appearance on “Wednesday.”

In 2022, after seeing Jenna’s character dance to “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps in the first season, fans of the show started a viral TikTok trend where they performed the moves to a sped-up version of the song by Gaga “Bloody”. Mary,” from her 2011 album “Born This Way.”

It proved so popular that the song received a streaming boost and began to rise up the charts.

Gaga – nicknamed Mother Monster, as her fans are called Little Monsters – even made her own video performing the spooky routine.

At the time, she wrote: “Kill Wednesday!”

“You’re welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here).”

At the Golden Globes last year, Jenna, 22, told reporters about the possibility of Gaga joining the show: “I’m sure Netflix would love that.”

“If Lady Gaga were to be part of it, (she and Wednesday) would have to be two monsters who understand each other.”

The “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” star recently revealed that she has been filming the second installment for several episodes, but Jenna isn’t sure if it will feature another dance.

He was asked if there would be a follow-up to his viral performancethe actress replied: “Not that I know of… I don’t look at the calendar in advance, but I’m afraid I’ll see something.”

Meanwhile, Christina Ricci has previously praised Jenna, describing her ‘Wednesday’ co-star as ‘amazing’.

The 44-year-old actress played Wednesday in the “Addams Family” films in the early ’90s, and she’s been impressed with Jenna ever since they started working together on the spinoff.

Christina – who plays Mrs. Marilyn Thornhill, a teacher at Nevermore Academy – told ELLE: “I loved being Wednesday.

“I am very proud of this role. I also think Jenna Ortega is amazing. She is so brave, so cool and really does her role justice. Wednesday is his role now… (and) both of these things can be true at the same time!
