The Ministry of Land has issued a notification stating that field employees will not stay at the same workplace, position or department for three years.

The ministry issued the circular yesterday (November 13) regarding transfer of employees of Land Revenue Administration and Land Records and Survey Department to union, upazila, district and divisional levels who had worked at the same workplace for more than three years.

According to the notification, it is essential to ensure uninterrupted, user-friendly and harassment-free land services to all citizens.

“To this end, the caretaker government has taken various measures to modernize land management and simplify the service delivery system. These services are provided by government employees,” the statement said.

We see that some employees have been working at the same workplace for a long time.

In order to establish transparency, efficiency and accountability in field land services by avoiding public suffering and harassment, the ministry considered that the transfer of employees (grades 10 to 20) working on the same workplace for a long time from today workplace to another will be appropriate.

The circular further stated that employees of Land Revenue Administration and Land Records and Survey Department at union, upazila, district and division levels under the department, who have been working at the same workplace for a long time, must follow four guidelines when they: move from their workplace to another.

The guidelines include allowing employees of the Land Revenue Administration and Department of Land Records and Field Survey to work at all levels in phases.

If an employee has been transferred to another location or inter-district before the stipulated time due to physical illness or decline in moral integrity or any specific or logical reason, then the Deputy Commissioner and, as the case may be, the Divisional Commissioner must submit a report explaining the reason for the transfer. to the Ministry of Lands as soon as possible.
