The Jericho Brass Band will have its free Veterans Day concert on Monday

The Jericho Brass Band will host a free Veterans Day Salute concert on Monday. The concert aims to recognize, recognize and thank our honorable American veterans of today and yesterday for their commitment and sacrifices to secure, protect and preserve the freedom that we and our families have enjoyed over the years.

The concert will be given at 7 p.m. at the UTC Campus Fine Arts Center, The Roland Hayes Concert Hall.

The centerpiece of the concert will be the world premiere of the song entitled “With Invincible Valor”, commissioned by the Jericho Brass Band for this occasion, and written, composed and performed by Stephen Bulla, former international arranger and chief composer. . States Navy Band.

The concert will also feature and honor the five service members who lost their lives during a terrorist attack on the Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga in 2015. The song titled “Five” was written by Kenyon Wilson, of UTC, to commemorate their service. Additionally, several salutes and patriotic songs that reflect and encourage our patriotism and freedom in this beautiful country will be performed. The music will recognize each of our different services and their role in protecting and securing our freedom over the years since 1776.

The concert is free and parking will be free. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
