COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police are searching for parents after a three-year-old child was found at a local store overnight.

CSPD says they were called to a local convenience store near Marksheffel and Dublin around 1:55 a.m. Sunday morning. When they arrived, they found a three-year-old child, barefoot, in pajamas. The boy told police he left his home because his parents weren’t there and he was scared. Police checked the nearby area for a residence with open doors, but were unable to find her parents. The child was placed with DHS.
