Clemson QB vows to use weekend visit to introduce Tigers to more Clemson targets

A commitment from Clemson continues to strengthen its bond with the Tigers.

Three-star quarterback Brock Bradley from Birmingham (AL) Spain Park has been a Clemson commit since August, but that hasn’t stopped him from growing his relationship with the Upstate program.

Bradley traveled to Clemson for the Tigers’ game against Louisville, marking another opportunity to meet with the staff and strengthen what he calls a cohesive relationship.

“Man, it’s been awesome,” Bradley said. “I’ve been in contact every week with Coach Swinney and Coach Riley, and our relationship has only gotten stronger since I committed. Coach Riley was able to come to one of my games and we spent some time together, so it’s just good to continue to build that relationship with these guys.

Bradley’s relationship with Clemson isn’t the only thing that has developed. He also had the opportunity to speak further with Garrett Riley and understand his vision for Bradley within his offense.

Riley views Bradley’s playmaking and athleticism as his biggest assets, hoping to seamlessly integrate the Alabama quarterback into his scheme.

“Yeah, absolutely,” Bradley said. “We talked about it before we hired me, and that’s always been the case. I think he thinks my athleticism and playmaking ability fits well with what he’s doing in his scheme and just my decision-making. And we’re already running an offense similar to what Clemson already runs at my high school, with some of the same basic concepts. So just having seen that on film, it kind of made things better.

During his weekend visit, one of Bradley’s closest friends on staff brought an extra side. Tajh Boyd was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame, and the young signal-caller was able to attend his ceremony Saturday evening.

Bradley sees it as another example of the rich history of success at his position at Clemson.

“Yeah, it was great,” Bradley said. “Me and Tajh are really close. I’ve known him since eighth grade and spent a lot of time with him before the game with my family. He talked to me and my parents and it was just great to strengthen that relationship. Not only that, but seeing Clemson’s rich quarterback history and all the guys who have been successful there definitely makes it more appealing to me.

While Bradley soaked up the Clemson atmosphere, he had another task in mind to accomplish this weekend. Alongside fellow Tiger Shavar Young, the two were able to chat with other prospects on deck, hoping to put together a strong sales pitch.

“Yes, actually, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to some of the kids that we’re working on, and I won’t name any names, but Shavar Young, another participant in this class with me, (is talking to) kids who that we’re working on,” Bradley said. “We actually cut things down a little bit, talking about the guys we want to work on and explaining to them that Clemson offers a great team and a great atmosphere on and off the field. There’s nothing like it in football academic and just preach to them what we believe in, what we believe in.

What Bradley believes in is the special atmosphere that reigns in Clemson. As the race for more prospects in his class heats up, Bradley hopes to be a valuable asset in attracting more players to his growing unit in 2026.
