My analysis
Alperen Sengun proves to be a pillar of the franchise for the Houston Rockets. He made a massive jump in 2023-24, averaging 21.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per night, career highs across the board.

So far this season, he has averaged 16.4 points per game, 3.9 points per game and 12.3 points per game. The focus here will be on his dominance on the boards.

At 6 feet 11 inches tall, Sengun is a tall man. He uses his length and strength all the way down to make his presence felt on the glass. The Turkish-born center has hit the Over with rebounds in three of his last four appearances, bringing down 14 rebounds in an impressive win over the Knicks on Monday.

In fact, he’s gone over in rebounds in five of seven games this season. Sure, you can say he’s playing against Wemby, so it might not be a banner day for Sengun inside, but he also averaged 13 rebounds in three outings against. Saint-Antoine last season.

This bet seems obvious given Sengun’s impact on Houston’s frontcourt.

We have two solid defensive teams here. The Spurs are third in terms of defense, while the Rockets are ninth. Offensively, they aren’t as stellar, scoring 105.8 points per game (28th) and 111.9 (18th), respectively.
