Chelsea defender Levi Colwill believes his side ‘deserve to win the most games’ after frustrating draw against Manchester United.

The Blues missed the chance to move up to third in the Premier League table and close the gap on top-of-the-table Liverpool after earning a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Despite this result, the young Chelsea team have still made an impressive start to life under new boss Enzo Maresca, occupying fourth place in the table ahead of last season’s title challengers Arsenal, and with a record of 100 % in the Conference League championship phase.

“I think the team is very frustrated,” Colwill said after the game.

“Where we are in the season, the football we have played, like today sometimes, we deserve to win most of the games.

“I want to win every game, so I was a little bit disappointed that we didn’t do that. It was obviously a tough game and they were under threat and that’s how they scored.

“We know what we are building, we know how good we are, how good we can be and how good we have been this season.

“At times in this game we played good football, created good chances, but if you don’t take risks it keeps them in the game and they get sniffed. That’s what happened. “
