Incoming Manchester United Head coach Ruben Amorim has revealed the player he is excited to work with once he takes charge of the club.

Amorim will become the new head coach on Monday after signing a two-and-a-half year contract.

Amorim delighted to coach Manuel Ugarte

The 39-year-old expressed his excitement about working with it again. The duo won the league title in Portugal before the Uruguayan joined Paris Saint-Germain.

“All the Uruguayans I have managed are incredible, and that is why I love all Uruguayans. Ugarte is a very talented boy and he has a lot of room to grow. I am very happy to know that he is back to Manchester United,” he said. to TNT Sports via MEN.

Ugarte has struggled to establish himself as expected at Old Trafford and will hope Amorim will help him settle quickly into the new environment. He only started one game under Erik ten Hag, but featured in all three under Van Nistelrooy.
