SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Shreveport police arrested a man Wednesday, Oct. 30 after a weeks-long search.

Officials say officers attempted to stop a black Chevrolet Tahoe for a traffic violation around 2:57 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Via and Roberts Street.

The driver, Quinton Hill, allegedly refused to stop and a high-speed chase ensued. The vehicle ultimately crashed near 2752 Murray Street.

Hill then fled on foot and was able to evade capture until October 30.
