WASHINGTON – Former President Donald Trump addressed supporters at his election night party in West Palm Beach, Fla., early Wednesday morning, after FOX News called the 2024 presidential election in his favor.

“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president, your 45th president and every citizen. And I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every day, I will fight for you, and with every breath of my body, I will not rest until we deliver the strong, secure and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve,” he said. “This will truly be America’s golden age. This is what we need. This is a wonderful victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again.”

FOX News called Trump’s election at 1:46 a.m. ET after the key states of North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania had all been called. The Associated Press called the race at 5:35 a.m.

DONALD TRUMP: They are our friends. We have thousands of friends participating in this incredible movement. This is a movement like no one has ever seen before. And frankly, it was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time. There has never been anything like this in this country. And maybe. And now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal, help our country.

Here we have a country that needs help, and it needs it badly. We will repair our borders. We will fix everything in our country. And we made history for a reason tonight. And the reason will be precisely that.

We overcame obstacles that no one thought possible. And it is now clear that we have achieved the most incredible political result: look, what happened is this crazy.

But it is a political victory that our country has never experienced before. Nothing like that.

I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president, and your 45th president, and every citizen. And I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every day I will fight for you, and with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we create the strong, secure, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be America’s golden age. This is what we need. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again.

And besides winning the battleground states of North Carolina, I love these places, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. We now win in Michigan, Arizona, Nevada and Alaska, which would give us at least 315 electoral votes. But that. But even if you do what the networks did, or whoever called it, because there was no other way, there was no other way to victory. We also won the popular vote. It was great.

Winning the popular vote was very nice and very enjoyable. I will tell you the great, great feeling of love. We feel a great feeling of love in this very large room with incredible people by my side. These people have been incredible. They took the trip with me and we are going to make you very happy. We will make you very proud of your vote. I hope that one day you will look back and say that was one of the truly important moments of my life when I voted for this group of people. Beyond the president, this group of great people.

America has given us a powerful and unprecedented mandate. We regained control of the Senate, wow, that’s great. And Senate elections in Montana, Nevada, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania were all won by the MAGA movement. They helped so much.

And in all of these cases, we worked with the senators. They were difficult races. And I mean, the number of wins in the Senate was absolutely incredible. And we did TV rallies, we did TV rallies with all of them. And sometimes we did two or three. And it was incredible to watch all these victories. Nobody expected it. Person. I just wanted to thank you so much for this. And we have great senators and great new senators. And it also appears that we will retain control of the House of Representatives.

And I want to thank Mike Johnson. I think he’s doing a wonderful job. Great job. I also want to thank my beautiful wife, Melania, and first lady, who owns the best-selling book in the country? Can you believe this? She did a great job, she works very hard. Works very hard to help people. So I just want to thank her.

But I want to thank all my family, my wonderful children. And they are extraordinary children. Now we all think our kids are amazing, everyone here thinks their kids are amazing. But it’s a good thing when you think they are. But Don, Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany, Barron, Laura, Jarrett, Kimberly, Michael, thank you all. What a help.

My father-in-law, Victor, is wonderful. And we miss Melania’s mother, Amalija, very much. We miss Amalija now. She would be very happy to stand on this stage right now. She would be so proud. She was a wonderful woman, beautiful inside and out. She was a wonderful woman.

I want to be the first to congratulate our great, now I can say Vice President-elect of the United States, JD Vance. And his absolutely remarkable and beautiful wife, Usha Vance. And he’s a fiery guy, isn’t he? You know, I said, “Go to the enemy camp,” and you know, the enemy camp is certain networks and a lot of people don’t like – “Sir, should I do this?” He just says, “Okay, which one?” » CNN, MSDNC. He will say: Very good, thank you very much. In fact, he looks like the only guy I’ve ever seen, he’s actually looking forward to it. And then he goes and erases them completely.

JD VANCE: Well, Mr. President, I appreciate you allowing me to join you on this incredible journey. I thank you for the trust you place in me. And I think we’ve just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America. And under the leadership of President Trump, we will never stop fighting for you, for your dreams, for your children’s future. And after the greatest political comeback in American history, we will lead the greatest economic comeback in American history under the leadership of Donald Trump.

DONALD TRUMP: Thank you very much. It turned out to be a good choice. I took a little heat at first, but he was. I knew, I knew the brain was good. About as good as it gets. And we love family.
