The Genetic Apex Emblem event is now available Pokémon TCG Pocketgiving players the chance to win free items from the Hourglass Pack, Shinedust and Emblems.

While the Lapras EX Event has only just started, Pokemon TCG Pocket is already putting players’ skills to the test. This time around, scorecard collectors will have to compete in online matches for ultimate bragging rights.

This guide details everything you need to know, including event duration, gameplay details, and all the rewards you should aim for.

Event dates

The Genetic Apex Emblem event begins on From November 7, 2024 at 06:00 (local time) and ends on November 28, 2024 at 05:59 (local time).

Unlocking emblems is the main objective of the Genetic Apex Emblem event.

The last event allows you to get special emblems by winning online battles against other players. These emblems can then be displayed on your player profile, which can be viewed by your friends and other players you add.

During the Genetic Apex Emblem event, you will also be able to obtain Shinedust and other items to help you on your card collecting journey.

Unlike the Lapras EX Drop event, the Genetic Apex Emblem event does not reward players with the chance to get a free EX card. Instead, you will receive the following medals when you defeat a set number of players:

How to start the Genetic Apex Emblem event

You’ll need to bring your best deck if you want to win these matches.

Here are all the steps to follow to start participating in the Genetic Apex Emblem event:

1. Start Pokemon TCG Pocket.
2. Select the “Battle” tab from the game menu (bottom left).
3. Choose the “Versus” category.
4. Select the “Event Match” option.
5. Choose from one of your decks.
6. Then press the “Battle” button to start your match.

Mission Rewards

The Genetic Apex Emblem event contains 10 rewards which you can unlock for participating and winning matches. You can see all the rewards from the match below:

The best reward from the Genetic Apex Emblem event is the 24 Hourglass Pack.. These allow you to speed up the time it takes to open Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Charizard packs. Essentially, you will be able to get more cards in less time.

Because of this, we recommend that all players participate in five online matches. This will allow you to unlock the 24 rewards of the Hourglass Pack. Shinedust rewards aren’t particularly important, as they only add Flair (cosmetic change) to your existing cards.
